Our standard garden beds are 3ft wide by 7ft long and 2ft deep. We prefer to grow in deep beds because we can amend the soil to best suit the needs of our plants. Opting for extra deep beds will make crop rotation much easier.

We line the inside of the bed with v***r barrier and stain and seal the outside to extend the life expectancy of the bed.
The lumber, stain and sealant are all purchased for

We dropped off one of these beautiful beds to a client in Lawrencetown NS.

In addition to garden design and garden building we also make custom garden structures, like this gorgeous arbour. This arbour serves as a vining structure for many plants as well as a beautiful entrance way into our outdoor oasis. Hi and welcome to our page, we are Erin and Erik, the founders of Grow Gardens NS. We are avid gardeners and garden builders. We are looking to help others start or continue to develop their dream gardens! We mostly practice permaculture vegetable gardening and have the woodworking skills to build fencing, beds, poultry coops and decorative garden structures. We believe that gardening can be accessible and attainable to everyone with the right garden design and plan. πŸ«‘πŸ«›πŸ…πŸ§…πŸ§„πŸ πŸŒ½πŸ₯•πŸ“

We are thrilled with how this project turned out! These clients had a 30 by 25 open area that we converted into a garden oasis! We installed a 30 by 25 wooden farm fence with 1 inch chicken wire to protect their raised beds from large and small critters. The fence has a gorgeous 6ft swing door. We look forward to visiting these clients in the spring to see their garden during the growing season! πŸ₯¦πŸ“πŸ…πŸ₯•πŸ₯’ Fall is a great time to think about your garden design and protection. It’s also a wonderful time to think about amending your soil, planting fall bulbs such as garlic and preparing for next season.
