Are you a fan of spiral staircases? I know I am. This was probably the most complex one I’ve worked on so far. The result is very rewarding.
A huge portion of the work is in the design of this project which was handled by , my role was advising and then leading the fabrication and installation process. A pleasure to work together as always.
Stainless steel handrails, huge curved stainless plates all finished with my special soft mat esthetic.

A T-shaped rustic office desk for a couple who also love arts and crafts. The integration of this fully functional vintage sowing machine is a great example of the beauty of custom work. Expertise in custom work means that the sky is the limit.
Everything done in shop by ED. Lots of love for not only metal work but woodworking as well. From plank joinery, to routered edge details, ornamental brackets and aluminum framing, to finding the designs and solutions necessary to bring this creation to life. That’s what it’s all about here.

What a great project this was. I absolutely love the warmth and character that these architectural folding doors add to this space.
It was a pleasure to fabricate and install these for who drew up the beautiful plans 🙏🏼.
My job was to ensure a functional, precise and visually appealing result. With custom, complex projects like this, it often falls to the fabricator to re-design and adapt hardware. A task that I find extremely stimulating because I explore and learn from the necessary creative problem solving that comes with custom work.
Here it is, the results speak for themselves.

Got blessed with some beautiful weather while installing this massive Corten steel railing at a residence on top of a mountain in Wentworth. Commissioned by to handle the assembly and installation which took two days.
Something worth noting is the material of choice here « Corten » which is a steel alloy that develops a beautiful orange surface patina with time. With this we can create great accent pieces that naturally blend in to either urban or wilder environments like this one.

Another throwback project. Taking the opportunity to share some of my history. My very first brass projects were commissioned by our very own Ritz-Carlton hotel in Montreal. My mentor Denis Baril from AtelierB got the contract and offered me the responsibility of fabricating. Despite my inexperience at the time, and the high cost of failure.. I’ve never been one to turn down a challenge. Therefore under his tutelage I stepped into the world of brass welding, assembling and finishing. This stunning marble top brass table for a penthouse dining room in the Ritz is a great example of what can be done.

A great display piece for a hotel reception area which I fabricated back in the day for my mentor.
This piece showcases a great blue gun (black oxide) marbled finish. To this day it is the largest surface area to which I have applied this finish which is an art unto itself.
My expertise in this, gained through years of experience allow me to offer an organic high end blackened steel finish which is unlike anything else.
This project was designed by my mentor Denis Baril at the now closed AtelierB back when I was still learning my craft.
Thankful for the trust that was put in me and the knowledge that was passed on to me. Let’s put it to good use.
