Doumont Restoration Project

Doumont Restoration Project Vancouver Island is beautiful. Let's get rid of all the garbage! The trail network located on Weigles Rd. near Doumont Rd.

is a great place for mountain bikers, hikers, ATV riders and dirt bikers to enjoy outdoor recreation. Unfortunately, this area has been historically used as a dumping ground and many areas are in desperate need of waste removal. Bagged Garbage is being removed from the area, thanks to the RDN! If you would like to get involved, you can use the page, or email me (Doug) at [email protected] or

call/text me at 250-797-6420

The Doumont Restoration Project is up every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30-7 and most Saturdays at the same time

Thank you for visiting this page and I hope to see you on the hill!

Trail Tracking and Rubbish Removal! :D
(Because alliteration is awesome)

It was the last day of trail mapping on behalf of the District of Lantzville and the Lantzville Foothills. Another 4 large bags of garbage were removed from a great network of trails outside of Seaview Elementary.

Big thanks to some lovely ladies at the Lantzville Legion, and a nice local hiker for taking two of the photos!

More work will still be taking place in Lantzville so stay tuned!

We are pleased to showcase the first artwork in Cappy Yates Park!

G.E.M. Fabrications generously gave a discount on these fun outdoor art pieces that have been put up around the park. They have a fantastic outdoor art gallery across the street! https://www.facebook.com/GemFabrications.GalleryRow

Big thanks to Medina Mayes from the Wee Cupcakery for helping with installation. There are lots of great local businesses in the area that want to see the property become something special. https://www.facebook.com/AWeeCupcakery?fref=ts

Let us know if you have ideas for the space!
