While the rest of the world is quiet, our little factory is working the night shift. 🌙

Our 3D printers are officially buzzing away! There’s something so cool about waking up to see what these machines have created while we were dreaming. This is the heart of modern making – blending tech and creativity at all hours of the day to bring your favourite critters and custom orders to life.

Whether it’s a new articulated dragon or a batch of fidgets, the glow of the print beds is our favourite late-night view.

Fresh off the hook and looking for some love! 🐢

We’re currently working on a new squad of crochet turtles here at the Shack. I couldn't wait to show you these work-in-progress shots! Each one is being handmade with its own unique personality and colour combination.

They aren’t quite ready to head to their new homes yet, but they’ll be hitting the shop very soon.

What an amazing night at the NPS Fun Fair! A huge thank you to Newcastle Public School and the NPS Council for organizing such a fantastic event, and to everyone who stopped by the Shack In The Back booth to say hello. The community spirit was incredible, and we truly loved meeting so many of you.

Seeing our 3D-printed dragons and colourful crochet critters head off to their new homes is always our favourite part of these events. Whether you picked up a new fidget friend or just chatted with us about our latest makes, you made our evening special.

We’re already looking forward to seeing you all at the next one!

Meet the newest member of the hoard! 🐉✨

We are so excited to introduce our brand new blue Crystal Dragon from Cinderwing3D. This vibrant shade joins our hot pink version to give you even more colourful choices for your collection. You can find them on our website at shackintheback.ca! Prefer the original? The old blue version is still available by request.

The coolest part about our 3D printed creatures is the customisation. All of our dragons can be custom printed in most colours, so you can get the exact look you want.

We are so excited to head over to the NPS Fun Fair this coming Thursday, June 4th! We'll be set up outdoors from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with our full booth full of all your handmade favourites. ☀️

Whether you're looking for a new articulated 3D printed dragon to join your collection or a cuddly crochet critter to take home, we'll have plenty of unique treasures for you to browse. Our 3D printed creatures are perfect for fidgeting, and our crochet bees, cows, and sea friends are looking for their forever homes! 🧶🐲

Look at these tiny new additions! 🐉✨

We are so excited to introduce our newest tiny Cinderwing3D hatchlings! These little cuties are fresh off the printer and looking for their forever homes.

From the sweet little guinea pig and koi fish to the tiny frog, duck, and ferret, each one is fully articulated and ready for all the fidgeting and fun you can handle. They may be small, but they have huge personalities!

As always, these are crafted right here in the shack using eco-friendly PLA. Whether you’re a collector of miniatures or just looking for a unique little desk companion, these hatchlings are the perfect pick-me-up.
