In the wake of the recent wind storm, the immediate focus is often on the trees that have already fallen. However, as an ISA Certified Arborist and Qualified Tree Risk Assessor, my primary concern now is the standing survivors and trees you want to preserve. High-velocity winds often cause "invisible" structural damage. A tree that survived this storm may be significantly compromised and predisposed to failure in the next moderate breeze.
