Custom Ideas Painting, carpentry, tiling and landscaping services. Finishing company. What I leaned towards during this period of my life was, to my own surprise, painting!

We are a finishing business that focuses on embellishing the surface of your home, I would describe ourselves as "Jack's of all trades". Here's a little background on "My Story":
I originally acquired the Small & Business Entrepreneur Degree at Algonquin College in order to open a business leaning towards fashion. Given the economy after my graduation, I decided to lean elsewhere, for what I thoug

ht would be temporary. From my first cut line, my first roll, I fell in love with what I do, and since then, this love has only grown bigger and bigger. With a good eye for detail, steady hands, good hand and eye coordination, my active persona, constructive common sense, the love for tools and the natural flow of things, I now provide all sorts of finishing services. From painting to drywall, drywall to framing, framing to carpentry such as deck and fence repairs. From deck and fences to staining, from carpentry to trim work such as baseboards, crown, casing and shoe mold. From trim to door installations, from doors to laminate flooring. From laminate flooring to tiling, from tiling to back splashes. During the course of learning these trades, from personal experiences and the guidance of other good contractors, I have been blessed with the opportunity to hire others and teach them what I have learned. From them, I have learned as well. Today, we are now blessed with even better opportunities such as guiding and teaching the prospective construction workers with students in our high schools under coop programs. As the team grows, we all grow as well, causing us to create a synergy among us that we can input in good work, great customer service and personal satisfaction of doing something that we love. I love everything that I do and I am truly blessed that I have found something that makes me feel like I have never worked a day in my life. The same feeling applies to my entire Custom Ideas' team. My true calling is to do something that makes me happy while it makes others happy as well, causing contagious synergy and harmony all around us. Our "Business Motto" is simple: A good business is one that produces happiness for all parties involved. If one of us is not satisfied, whether it is a co-worker, a client, the owner and/or a business partner, I call it 'bad business'. We are here to provide a great business experience, all around, and without exceptions. Our "Mission Statement":
