There’s something quietly brilliant about the little things we almost miss.
On a recent flight, I noticed the word “airspace” printed by the window—but what stood out wasn’t just the word itself. Each letter had tiny gaps, subtle openings that quite literally created air space within the lettering. A detail so small most people would never see it… yet so intentional, so perfectly aligned with its meaning.
It made me think about how much thoughtful work exists all around us—design choices, creative decisions, extra care—that often goes unnoticed. Someone, somewhere, took the time to think that through. To make it clever. To make it meaningful. Not for recognition, but because it mattered to get it right.
There’s something inspiring about that. A reminder that effort doesn’t have to be loud to be impactful. That the smallest details can carry the biggest ideas.
So here’s your nudge: look a little closer. Whether it’s in your work or someone else’s, there’s often more intention, more care, more creativity than meets the eye.
Sometimes, the magic is in the spaces in between.
