Welcome to the beginning of Maple Valour Farms! 🫡

Today marks the start of our journey, and it was a productive one! With the help of two dedicated veterans, a broadfork, and a tiller, we re-established our garden in just 2.5 hours and planted lots of tomatoes and peppers! 🥳

Next up: direct seeding, mulching, fencing to deter animals, and creating new permanent raised beds.

Exciting updates from our team this month! We've been hard at work starting seeds and carving out space to launch our mission. Alongside this, we've honed in on our organization's identity, mission, and goals, meticulously outlining everything in a detailed business plan.

Looking ahead, May 6 we begin Canadian Legacy Project entrepreneurial training. We are playing in the dirt everyday getting ready for this growing season. 🥳 Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to grow and develop our initiatives!
