Another custom job finished. These clients wanted this cold storage converted to a wine cellar, with pieces designed to fit the space. For the most part, the room itself was a pretty simple job in terms of insulating and re-drywall the inner door wall, laying the tile, drop ceiling, trim/paint, and adding two new pot lights.
The most time consuming part of this job, was milling and joining all the wood. They wanted everything done in red oak, which they just happened to have, in rough sawn lumber.
So after many hours of flattening, planing, building and staining, they absolutely loved the outcome, and couldn't be happier to see it all come together.

Here's a throwback!
Before I relaunched my page, those of you that followed will remember this.

In 2022 I did this mural for my oldest daughter. As she is getting older, so are her interests. I think it may be time to give her room an upgrade. But before I do that, I will leave this quick little video here to serve as a memorable moment for everyone.

These are a couple of my "Home Finishing" pieces. NOTE: I am NOT taking any credit for the design of these pieces, I simply replicated and modified the design/dimensions to suit the space they go in.
First up, I have a half section layout for a coffee table. I already had the glass top (hence the redesign) so I based the table size off of that. After a dry fit, paint, assembly, and custom made steel legs, this table turned out beautifully. The design and color, is sure to compliment any living space.

Second up, this sideboard was built to replace a shelf that just couldn't hide the clutter. In the case of this particular one, it houses board games, puzzles, crafts, and anything else you would otherwise trip over. Simple black exterior, with a veneer oak top, bright white interior with adjustable shelves. When you need storage, but want the look of elegance, this piece will do just that.

Nice new overhaul for this family room. Removal of the old wallpaper and vertical trim pieces to give a modern look. New cabinet doors and drawers, with a fresh paint job all around. To finish it off, a white wash for the brick fireplace, with black airbrushed mortar to tie everything together.
