I made so many things this week! 3 hand puppets, a frog, a slug and a raven! The raven would not sit upright, lol!

The handsome fellas on the ends are desk buddies, AND bottle toppers! What a hoot.

Hey folks! I'm having to re-work what I can do right now due to a flaring up old injury. I broke my thumb nearly 10 year ago now and have rebroken it twice since. It's flaring up again and needs to rest.

Here's a rough idea for you to guesstimate what I can and can't do. Honestly, just nothing big or intricate.

A reminder for those asking I do NOT do fittings and I do NOT do alterations. 😇 & no formal wear 🥰 Thanks!

Back at it!!! I am offering sewing by donation in the Alberni Valley!

We can meet at the Spirit Square Farmers Market, Saturdays 9-12. I will work on your wares over the week and get them back to you the next market following!

I will be at the markets all winter, I will post here if I am attending another location, or if I bring my machine anywhere for a pop up repair shop!

I do suspend sewing services every summer, so make sure you get in before late spring! 🥰

I do it all by donation to support my career as a local Provincial Park Operator. It is my vocation 🥰 tis just the time of year 💝

Service Suspended
Hey folks! It's that time of year again, I have decided I am going to suspend sewing services until fall. Just like summers previous, I have returned to work as one of your local Provincial Park Operators, and our harvest season is on the horizon.

Being a BC Park Operator on Vancouver Island brings me so much pride and joy. It is an honour to provide the services we do. We increase accesibility, educate on sustainability, are supportive of community reacreation and personal safety. PO's report on our regulations, react to perceivable concerns(campfires, wildsafe, traffic), and reduce local search and rescue calls. Most important to myself, I get to celebrate your engagement, because every visit is what gives me this oppourtunity. I am blessed.

The heat however, does get to me 😇 so I am tapping out on sewing for the next few months, I am sure you'll understand. We will still be at the Farmers Market with wild berries, foraged mushrooms, farmed goods, and other hobby items... just no sewing util fall. Thanks all!

We are at the Spirit Square Farmers Market today!! At the Harbour Quay from 9-12. Come enjoy the wildlife on Easter weekend, the weather is supposed to be lovely. At the Harbour Quay there are regularily eagles, sea ducks, gulls, sometimes minks, seals and Herons! If you look closely there are a lot of small wildlife too, arguably cooler🐍🐛🦗

I am offering sewing repairs by donation. I'll fix what you'd like, how you'd like for what it's worth to you.

We have a beach pea, a Leopard Slug(obscura), am Arion slug head, summer isopod, a western pearl shell (fresh water mollusk), cauliflower mushroom, hair ice, bullfrog, twinberry, vancouver groundcone, lancetooth snail, a gnome, lady bug, copper underwing moth (caterpillar state) rice root, and a trillium!

Hola amigos!! My grand and wonderful supporters. We are out in Beaver Creek today, at the Cabin at Shannon Farms for the Maple and More Market. Today, Sunday 10-2. Come check out all the wonderful vendors :)

I have a some sewn items, but today's feature is from my heart! A hand drawn colouring book of local wildlife found in our parks. To support my endeavors as one of our local Provincial Park Operators. It's a seasonal career, but my lifelong vocation to help our community have access at all ages and abilities. The book is available by pre-order, for $15 :)
