A Windows update can crash yer system without warnin’ — but a Restore Point can get ya back on yer feet.

🔁 What it does:
Restore Points save a snapshot of your system so if things go sideways, you can roll it back — no data loss, no drama.

1. Search “create a restore point” in the Start menu

2. Click Create... on a drive with Protection turned on

3. Name it, hit Create, and yer setup’s backed up

The photo below says a lot about my journey so far. On one side, you’ll see the life I’m building here in Newfoundland—tools on the bench, gardens, the ocean, and hands-on projects that keep me grounded. On the other, you’ll see echoes of my thirteen years teaching in Korea—city lights, schools, and all those memories that shaped who I am.

Coming home to Newfoundland has reminded me how much good comes from slowing down and letting life move at its own pace. I’m grateful for time to dig into old interests—woodworking, wiring, gardening, building—and to work with my hands and my heart.

Starting Yes B’y Computer Services is just the first of many ideas I hope to bring to life here. I’m putting real care into this work, trusting that with patience, honesty, and a bit of help from folks spreading the word, things will grow as they’re meant to.

Whether I’m helping someone with their tech, shaping a piece of wood, or tending the land, I find the same lesson: good things take time, steady effort, and a willingness to help where you can.
