We just unloaded and received another truck of nursery stock and perennials!

We have a fresh selection for you choose from:

A wide variety of colors of single and double Hollyhock, mixed Sweet William, assorted new and old trusty Hostas, new and old trusty Daylilies, all sorts of colours of Iris, new colourful varieties of Blanket Flower, Balloon Flower, Roses from the Canadian Artist and Parkland Series, dwarf evergreens such as Slowmound Mugo, Columnar Mugo, and Montgomery Blue Spruce, a fruit re-stock including hardy Kiwi, cranberry, blueberry, Saskatoons, and Dwarf Apples, a re-stock on ornamentals like Sunsation, Concorde, and Rose Glow Barberry, more Thunderchild and Gladiator Rosybloom Flowering Crabs, Jade Cascade Weeping Crab, Red Oak, Weeping Norway Spruce, a wide assortment of Sedums and Stonecrop, and lots lots more to choose from!

We just had another truck arrive late Wednesday and it's been received and brought out. We have an even bigger selection of perennials than before including some new and colourful introductions for our planting zone!

Linda, Laurie and I all strive to bring new and different items and new introductions for our planting zone in as often as possible to help you expand your garden choices.

Many people have been waiting for some of these items and we will begin contacting everyone to let you all know our stock is ready for sale and/ or pickup.

We have Karl Foerester Feather Reed Grass back in stock and several varieties to choose from, some new and old varieties of roses back in stock, new and colourful Iris and Daylilies, Wooly Thyme (creeping), seabuckthorn, asparagus, ground cherry, dwarf Mugo pines, and Gladiator Flowering Crabs back in stock, just to name a few people are waiting for.

We also got a fresh restock on some 4.5 inch annuals, 4 inch herbs, and a restock on annual baskets including some sun mix baskets (for full sun) and some stunning shade mix coleus baskets (full to part shade).

Starting today all of our remaining seed onions and seed potatoes are on clearance for 50%. It's not too late to plant onions or potatoes if you haven't already, or plant a few more at these super low prices!

And this weekend we will be giving away one 4-pack veggie with every purchase. We have cabbage, celery, fennel, kohlrabi, and leek to choose from for the giveaway.

We have had a few people ask about a few items that PA is out of (or are hard to find), that we have in stock:

Corn seeds (we have a couple left)

We found three of these ugly little pests today. The dreaded Tent Catepillar. Ugly and small but they have exceptional appetites. We really hope this isn't the start of something bad.

I know everyone in the PA area can agree we need a "normal" or close to normal summer given the cold dry smokey one we had last summer and the exceptionally long winter we had this past winter.

We hope we are wrong but we feel Mother Nature might have a few cards left up her sleeve.

Consider this a North Central SK public service announcement and we hope we are just being overly cautious.

Stock up on BTK if you can find it. (We have some in stock but not lots- but will be placing an order for more). Spray it on everything you want to protect that tent catepillars will actually eat. It kills the caterpillars within hours after they eat the coated leaves. Plant/ leaf damage is still unavoidable, but it prevents the caterpillar from completing its life cycle and laying the next batch of eggs.

Fingers crossed these three we found today are just lonely outliers. 🤞

This week we are showcasing our incredibly colourful selection of Begonias and SunPatiens. Most do very well in part sun/ part shade and can handle some sun (preferably early morning sun).

Our entire selection of annual Begonias are on sale this week at 50% off (excluding any tropical houseplant begonias). We have Solenia, Illumination, Beauvilla, Dragon Wings, Whopper, Non-Stop, Big, and Carneval. Many colours to choose from.

Our entire selection of SunPateins are also on sale at 50% off including Compact, Vigorous and Vigorous Tropical.

Both Begonias and SunPatiens are perfect for a continuous splash of colour and texture all season long that will do very well under a covered deck, gazebo and awning.

We apologize for the short notice, but we will be unable to load any bulk rock, bulk soil or large quantities of mulch today or tomorrow as our alternate equipment operator is unable to work this weekend.

Cory (our main equipment operator) is finally getting a well deserved day or two off as he hasn't had a single day off since the April 7th snow storm.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will resume bulk material loading on Monday.

Hey everyone, if you are looking for seed potatoes, garlic or seed onions, there is still lots of time left to get them in the ground. We have lots in stock, multiple varieties.

I may catch heck for making this post...but the overstock seems to be taking up space in my nice cool shop...so please help me out and come and get some!!!
