A haven is often built with what other people throw away.
The grass removed from this garden edge still had soil attached to it.
Instead of hauling it away, we sifted the dirt, returned it to the garden, and used the money we saved to buy curtains for the shed.
Resourceful decorating isn’t about spending less.
It’s about seeing more.
Sometimes the materials you need are already sitting in front of you… hidden inside the work you’re already doing.
