INGREDIENTS
3 cups/750 mL all-purpose flour
2 tsp/10 mL baking powder
1/2 tsp/2.5 mL salt
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup/250 mL sugar
1/2 cup/125 mL butter, melted
2 tsp/10 mL Watkins All Natural Original Gourmet Baking Vanilla®
1-1/2 tsp/7.5 mL Watkins Pure Almond Extract
3/4 cup/180 mL finely chopped blanched almonds
Directions
Combine first three ingredients, set aside. Beat together the eggs, sugar, and melted butter; add extracts. Add flour mixture, one third at a time; mixing thoroughly after each addition. Fold in almonds. Spread 1/2 of dough onto cookie sheet to form a loaf 12 inches/30 cm long, 3 inches/8 cm wide, and 1-1/2 inches/4 cm high. Repeat with remaining dough. Bake at 350ºF/180ºC for 20 minutes or just until starting to brown around edges; cool 10 minutes. Remove loaves from cookie sheet and place on cutting board. Cut across loaf into slices 1/2 inch/15 mm thick. Lay cookies cut side down on cookie sheet and return to oven for 12 minutes. Turn cookies over and bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until dry and crisp.

GARLIC & DILL STUFFED MUSHROOMS

INGREDIENTS
24 whole snow cap mushrooms
oil
2 tbsp/30 mL Organic Garlic & Dill Dip Mix
8 oz/227 g cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp/30 mL chopped chives
Directions
Remove stems from mushrooms; brush caps with oil. Stir seasoning into cream cheese; fill opening where mushroom stem was removed with mixture. Bake on cookie sheet at 350°F/180°C for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle with chives.

Makes 24 appetizers.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup/125 mL butter
1 package (12 oz/340 g) white chocolate chips
1-1/4 cup/310 mL flour
3/4 cup/180 mL sugar
1 tsp/5 mL Watkins Organic Pure Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp/1.2 mL salt
3 eggs
Icing:
3 cups/750 mL powdered sugar
6 tbsp/90 mL butter, softened
1 tsp/15 mL Watkins Organic Pure Vanilla Extract
3 tbsp/45 mL milk or water
Directions
Heat oven to 350°F/180°C. Spray a 13 x 9-inch/33 x 23-cm baking dish with cooking spray then sprinkle with flour. In a large pot, melt the butter and white chocolate chips over low heat, stirring frequently until melted. Remove from the heat and cool. Stir in the flour, sugar, vanilla, salt and eggs until well blended. Spread mixture evenly in the pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool. In a medium bowl, mix all the icing ingredients until smooth. Spread icing over cooled brownies.

Makes 20 brownies.

WATKINS 1868 ORGANIC GRILLING BARBECUED RIBS
Ingredients
Ribs:
2 Racks (6-1/2 pounds or 2.95 kg) pork spareribs, cut into 2-rib portions
1/2 cup/125 mL apple cider vinegar
5 tbsp/25 mL Watkins 1868 Organic Grilling Smoked Maple Rub
2 tbsp/10 mL Watkins Organic Ground Black Pepper
1 tsp/5 mL Watkins Fine Himalayan Pink Salt

Barbecue Sauce:
2/3 cup/160 mL Barbecue Sauce
2 tsp/10 mL Watkins Organic Baking Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp/1.2 mL Watkins Organic Ground Cinnamon
1/4 tsp/1.2 mL Watkins Organic Ground Ginger

Directions
Place spareribs into a large kettle or Dutch oven. Pour in apple cider vinegar. Cover spareribs with Watkins 1868 Organic Grilling Smoked Maple Rub, Watkins Organic Ground Black Pepper, and Watkins Fine Himalayan Pink Salt. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer covered for 1-1/2 hours, drain. (Can be made ahead to this point.) Cool; cover and refrigerate until 1 hour before grilling.

Preheat grill to 300ºF/149ºC. Combine Barbecue Sauce ingredients in a bowl and stir until combined. Grill ribs for 10 minutes, turning once. Baste with Barbecue Sauce, grill for 5 minutes. Turn and baste again with sauce; grill 5 minutes more. Serve with remaining Barbecue Sauce.
