Every year it is very important to make sur e your filters are clean. When calling a service provider there is nothing worse than charging a customer a service call fee just to change your filter. If your furnace is not working first check your filter, change your batteries in thermostat, these 2 things will save you some money I can tell you the honest truth i get about 80 calls for a problem that can be fixed with about 2 minutes of your own time. Example if you have air conditioning your furnace runs all year round batteries should be change every 3 months Filters should be changed monthly in the summer so your coil does not freeze up and once every 3 months after that. Hope this saves you some cash
