To our followers, one other thing. 6 months I put in for tomato plants, peppers, herbs too... When my health troubles hit, many plants died as a result. The hard work to ensure our plants were stunning, strong and healthy was lost. That said, life happens. It has been very hard to empty containers that had stunning, beautiful and on the heels of production plants, many were flowering already. Starting again is all I can do.

I am so sorry 😞

Hello!

Even though Baba's is temporarily closed, I wanted to share this, as I have on my personal fb too. Somewhat personal, but, I know my Baba would say asking others to consider is all you can do, but its worth it.

An added decade was added to my life thanks to the Urology centre at St Paul's Hospital after a major surgical injury that by medical textbooks, the time it took to catch it (7 weeks), I should have never been alive.

I will be 50 this Sunday, and have put word out, that charitable donations to St Paul's Hospital Foundation, directed to the Leslie and Irene Dube Urology Centre, is my wish. Via the link here, it is at the bottom for choices of direction for donations.

A big part of why we have closed temporarily is because of my health, specifically urology (my urologist is amazing!!), doing everything they can to ensure I see another decade. Trouble has come, but hope is there.

Please consider charitable donations, with instant tax receipts to this incredible centre in the hospital, that helps 1000's of people like me. Without them, the expertise of my own urologist, I would not be here now.

Yes, we are in another battle, but, trust, faith in my team is solid. We will be back once I have the clearance and know that my health is stable again.

Thank you in advance,

To our followers,

Please know I have made the decision to temporarily shut down. Due to a very serious family emergency, it is best temporarily. The guilt is eating me alive that I have not been able to accomplish what I wanted to this spring. Worked hard, dealt with health issues during, and now an unexpected family emergency has happened.

My dream is to get Baba's off the ground and rise up. Working as hard as I have to get it going, it is a major setback again.

But, this situation must come first. I have no choice. The decision has not been made lightly. Family first, and the seriousness of what has happened has taken priority, as it must.

I will update soon on when I will be ready to get off the ground.

Thank you for your understanding,

Treena Cheveldayoff

Hi all!!

Daily posts kicking up, we are BACK!

I am on the mend and moving in the right direction health wise! About 2 weeks and I will be gtg!

In the meantime, our plants are growing like weeds! The weather is a bit unpredictable for many plants.

But, ours are awaiting new homes that will cherish their beauty, production and care :)

Many plants at Baba's are in full production, or close to, when sold!

We look forward to serving you!

Hello everyone. We are excited to offer a wonderful Mother's Day Gift valued at approximately $100.00 for the trade show at Confederation Mall, this Saturday May 9th, from 11-4pm. Pic attached of one of the plants included!

Unfortunately, due to a recent health issue that has lasted for three weeks, we have been compelled to withdraw from the event, as exposure to viruses poses a risk to my health. We will soon announce another event that will take place once my health has stabilized.

In the interim, we are pleased to contribute two plants and a beautiful candle holder to the event. We wish all the mothers in attendance the best of luck.

Hello everyone. Thank you for not leaving our page. We had a major family emergency, and I did not post over the time.

Plants are going, and I have been working to ensure our plants are strong and healthy to find their homes this year.

Please accept my apologies, as a family we are in troubling times and will know on Monday if the potential of major surgery is ahead too.

If you pray, please send prayers to Brody for his health. Positive vibes are welcome too

Many thanks for your understanding

Yummy yummy yummy!! They have sprouted and will be transplanted this weekend!! Happy Friday everyone!! 😊
