Hello!
Even though Baba's is temporarily closed, I wanted to share this, as I have on my personal fb too. Somewhat personal, but, I know my Baba would say asking others to consider is all you can do, but its worth it.
An added decade was added to my life thanks to the Urology centre at St Paul's Hospital after a major surgical injury that by medical textbooks, the time it took to catch it (7 weeks), I should have never been alive.
I will be 50 this Sunday, and have put word out, that charitable donations to St Paul's Hospital Foundation, directed to the Leslie and Irene Dube Urology Centre, is my wish. Via the link here, it is at the bottom for choices of direction for donations.
A big part of why we have closed temporarily is because of my health, specifically urology (my urologist is amazing!!), doing everything they can to ensure I see another decade. Trouble has come, but hope is there.
Please consider charitable donations, with instant tax receipts to this incredible centre in the hospital, that helps 1000's of people like me. Without them, the expertise of my own urologist, I would not be here now.
Yes, we are in another battle, but, trust, faith in my team is solid. We will be back once I have the clearance and know that my health is stable again.
Thank you in advance,
Treena Cheveldayoff
