Happy May Long! Today has been a repotting and maintenence day here! Now is the best time to be checking your roots and refreshing soil, sizing up your pots or splitting plants if needed!

Hello beautiful plant people! Had to share this! In the fall I brought in around 10 ladybugs and put them in a couple of my house plants and let them live rent free. Fast forward to today, doing some plant maintenance and I took my Hoya and hosed it down in the shower and almost rinsed the little ladybug right down the drain! He is back in the plant, safe and sound lol

Here's some winter plant tips and advice:

• don't fertilize plants during winter months
• try to avoid repotting during winter months unless it's absolutely necessary
• yellowing/dropping leaves is normal during winter
