Join our Team! We are looking for a Technical Representative.

Arriscraft, manufacturer of naturally-made products that emulate quarried stone, has an opening for a Technical Representative/Shop Drawing Drafter. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong construction, engineering or architectural background. Excellent presentation, organizational and time management skills are required.

This individual will be responsible for working with architects, engineers, specification writers, masons, tile setters and installers to ensure the proper detailing and installation of Arriscraft’s different stone cladding systems for our Thin-Clad Stone product lines. This individual would also be responsible for producing takeoffs and shop drawings for different projects throughout North America. The individual will assist in the development and maintenance of standard technical information including product data sheets, guideline specifications, and CAD/BIM details. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales department.

Assets include:
- 5 – 10 years of demonstrated construction/architectural experience
- Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology. Building Science background preferred.
- Candidate that is either OAA, AIA, MAATO registered or has a P.Eng designation will be given first consideration
- Knowledge of different cladding systems and building envelopes is a must
- Excellent understanding of moisture movement from all aspects (wind driven, dew point, capillary etc…)
- Strong detailing background that can be demonstrated on actual buildings the candidate has worked on.
- Candidate with experience in masonry and stone detailing/construction will be given first consideration
- Ability to explain complex detailing over the phone
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Willingness to travel at times
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM a must
- Sales/customer service background would be an asset

There are so many wonderful thin adhered masonry products on the market today but the industry as a whole has been derided for years and years due to the many failures that have occured.
