My very first One Of A Kind Show is just a little over 2 weeks away 🙆🏾♀️
Fun fact: I actually applied to OOAK back in 2023 and didn’t get accepted… and honestly, I’m so grateful that I didn’t. At the time, I hadn’t done a single market and had no idea what I was doing (I mean, technically I still don’t 😅). But now, 2 years later, I’ve got a good chunk of markets under my belt, I’ve learned so much through trial and error, and I finally feel (sort of) ready to take on this challenge.
My art and collection have also grown in tremendous ways since then — both in style and in spirit. I’ve refined my designs, deepened my creative process, and truly found my voice as a maker.
The timing was really something—Let me tell you God really be up to some things🙏🏾 What felt like a “not yet” back then has turned into a wild and beautiful "now.”
There’s still lots to tweak and plenty of late nights ahead, but I’m working hard to make my first OOAK show the best it can be. I can’t wait to set up my little Christmas hut alongside so many talented makers.
Here’s to stepping out in faith, trusting the process and timing.
