Here's a quick look into our design process to get you from start to finish with your project.
1. Our Property Development Report (PDR) analyzes the zoning by-laws on your property so we can determine if the house, addition, multiplex, laneway or garden suite that you’re looking for will fit on the property.
2. The next step is for us to come out to do as-built measurements of the property as needed or go through your wishlist for the space so that we can start the design process.
3. We hold 3 major design meetings to develop the design of your new space. We develop the floor plans and exterior design further at each meeting to go from a sketch to 3-D photorealistic renders.
4. Once the design is complete, we start construction drawings for municipal permit submission. We also coordinate with any consultants needed to put together a final cohesive package of drawings.
5. When the building permits are received by the municipality, construction can begin on site. We'll follow along during the construction process to make sure the design turns out on the point.
