Popcorn ceiling removal is a complex process, but the result is a beautiful and modern flat ceiling. The entire floor must be covered with construction paper, and the walls, windows, and doors need to be protected with plastic. After the popcorn texture is removed, a primer is applied, followed by three coats of plaster with sanding between coats. Then the surface is primed again and finished with two coats of paint. Finally, the plastic and paper coverings are removed and the area is thoroughly cleaned.

Here you can clearly see the transformation – the risers and sides of the staircase were freshly painted in white, replacing the old yellow-stained wood. We finished a kitchen project for recently. We needed to fix the cabinet doors, sand them, prime them with a conversion primer, sand again, and then apply two coats of a high-quality finish. The result is a smooth, durable surface with a clean, modern look that will hold up well over time.

Restoration of these brass lamps and lights for our client was challenging but incredibly rewarding. The saltwater pools had taken a toll on the fixtures, so we had to use heavy-duty cleaning equipment followed by detailed hand sanding. Once sanding was complete, we thoroughly cleaned all surfaces and applied two coats of Durathane clear finish — a two-part epoxy — for long-lasting protection.
