Custom “oil splash” mask loosely based on Curtis Joseph’s Edmonton Oilers mask. Although hard to transpose through photography, the splash was created using 24K liquid gold and copper tones.

Custom painted goalie mask for Mac, meant to reflect her indigenous (/cree) background and values. Was very grateful and honoured to be chosen as her artist. (Interesting side note: her cousin is an NHL’er who plays for the Edmonton Oilers!)

Custom painted “World Traveler” goalie mask for Sean. Sean has loved, worked, and traveled in more than 165 countries. In addition to torn metal strips and mechanical leafs (symbolic of his career as an aircraft engineer), the mask depicts his top travel memories. The right side features a polar bear and the “Tundra Buggy” from his polar bear viewing adventures in Churchill, Manitoba. Below that is a military fighter jet occupied by a beaver and kangaroo from his time working alongside various UN missions in Afghanistan. The other side has a scene depicting his memory paddle boarding with his family amongst hundreds of sea turtles in Rarotonga (Cook Islands). Below that is a scene of his memory diving and feeding 7 different species of sharks in Fiji.

“Deadly Tendy” (Canada Version). The original idea of a “Deadly Tendy” mask was submitted to me by a lovely hockey mom in Colorado for her 10 years old son. The idea has been popular amongst goalies of all ages. This latest “Canadian” version was created for a goalie that flies out today for a week long international tournament.

The mask features 14 (15 with the backplate) of Hollywood’s most acclaimed horror movie characters.

My personal favourite parts of the design are: sitting on a Canadian Tire sponsored Zamboni being driven by Billy the Puppet ( ); ( ) wearing a Tim Hortons hockey jersey; (Friday the 13th) holding a goalie stick in front of a “Welcome to Camp Crystal Lake Goalie Camp” wooden sign, a spin on the iconic wooden sign featured in the first, original “Friday the 13th” movie where Jason was first seen wearing his iconic goalie mask.

Other characters featured on the mask are: ( ), ( ), , , ( ), ( ), ( ).

The backplate features the movie poster of where a hand can be seen emerging from a the back of someone’s head while showering.
