Lately, I have been building a lot with Cedar. I have found that it has been fundamentally better than any other wood I have worked with. Being able to withstand so many weather conditions, it is often favored for its decay resistance. Did you know that it naturally resists rot.. up to 40 years?! - making it an excellent choice for these Mud Kitchens! The turn out has taken my breath away every single time. I am so excited to see how uses it with her sweet little girl 💕

A friend of mine is living in a small space in Toronto (who can relate?!) I built this mini mud kitchen for her and I am OBSESSED with the final product ✨ With the warmer weather here ☀️ and Easter just around the corner 🐰 it’s time to get cracking on fun activities 💚💛

Playing with water and sand can be very soothing for children, not
to mention the educational value in it. These sensory bins make fantastic outdoor pieces and can be multi-purposed. Having two separate experiences gives children an opportunity to choose how and what they play with! And we are all about letting children choose 👐🏼

I must say, I have seen some of the CUTEST kids over the past few days. Not only are they super cute but also exceptionally creative! 💭 Play is our brain’s favourite way of learning, no matter how old 😉
