What was once a space that was crying to be renovated, this kitchen/bathroom renovation started with a complete gut right down to the framing - walls, ceiling and floors. The original floor was 3" out of level and there was too much going on in between the joists. It was then decided the entire floor was to come out and be reframed - new level floor. There was radiator heating before, now there is in-floor radiant heating within the joist spaces. All exterior walls were spray foam. All new electrical - each appliance having its' own dedicated circuit. All new plumbing for both kitchen and bath. Two new energy efficient windows. Both pocket door and barn style door installed. colours and fixtures selected by client. Now it is a show piece deserving to be in a magazine which the client is completely ecstatic with the outcome.
