You notice how quickly years of learning, experimenting, failing, refining and finding your creative voice can be reduced to a prompt.
You notice how the word creative gets thrown around a little more casually. How everyone suddenly has a brand, a logo, a marketing strategy and a beautifully worded caption, all before their morning coffee has gone cold.
And listen, I'm not anti-AI. I use it. I understand its value. I'm fascinated by what it can do. But I also know what it took to build something before we could simply type "make it look luxurious, authentic and emotionally compelling" into a little box.
AI has made creating easier. But has it made creativity more valuable?
Perhaps that's the irony of it all.
The more technology makes everything accessible, instant and replicable, the more I find myself drawn to the things that aren't. The imperfect brushstroke. The engraved message. The handwritten letter. The mural that takes hours to create and cannot be reproduced with a single click.
Not because technology is the enemy.
But because human intention is becoming the differentiator.
And for those of us (I see you) who have spent years building businesses with our hands, our minds and a slightly unreasonable amount of determination, that's something worth talking about.
