Paruparong Asul (Blue Butterfly)
I've struggled with painting in a lot of ways, this is a recent painting that I've done. I'm sure a lot of people has struggled painting something they've drawn out in paper or online, beforehand. It doesn't end up looking like the reference and sometimes gets frustrating. I stopped painting for that reason, as I get discouraged easily. Ironically, I do window painting now! Practice and time is part of doing art, having not painted in canvas in a while I was reluctant to do this painting project in school. I had my doubts while working on it but I told myself to put some trust into it, and by suprise I was happy to say that I have improved from my younger self :)

This might seem small, but as a kid who was always painting out drawing references ive made and being frustrated with it not looking like my reference . I feel like I have grown so much with this project, I will continue to be frustrated when my art doesn't go my way but my mom says "keep practicing and be patient anak."
