A warm and inviting renovated kitchen at the heart of a home for a busy family.

A nod to craftsmanship and timeless interiors, this kitchen features rich tones in cream and wood cabinets and veined marble counters. Small, intentional moments like the counter edges and unique island shelving elevate the everyday. Robust wood k***s for daily use cabinets, and touch-latch upper cabinets for occasional use. Designed to be lived in, and built to last.

A sexy dining area with a retro sensibility.

Spacious, light filled, and connected to the rest of the house and the landscape (through 11ft sliding doors). Designed for gathering, for everyday meals, for dinners that run long. Comfortable and relaxed for real life, not stuffy, not an extra room that never gets used – exactly the opposite. A room for lingering and enjoying company and surrounding nature.

A first look at the kitchen from our Mimico Reno.

No uppers. Tile carried to the ceiling. Double-nosed marble counters, an integrated millwork fridge, and a custom hood create a composition that feels both refined and effortless.

Through a careful design process, we considered each element in relation to the next, resulting in a warm, cohesive space with a subtle nod to mid-century design.

A fresh powder room for Spring🌿:
Featuring a bespoke honed marble floating sink, unlacquered brass wall-mounted faucets that will patina beautifully over time, limewashed walls, a bevelled mirror, and the sweetest whimsical rabbit hook for hand towels. Finished with a delicate sprig of iris styled by Studio Maniera.

Understated, refined, and designed to weather the seasons.

A post reflecting on an unforgettable trip to Salone del Mobile in Milan, and I can honestly say it was everything I hoped for and more.

Before leaving, I said I was going in search of inspiration — and I truly found it. To be surrounded by such an extraordinary concentration of creativity, innovation, craftsmanship, and design was incredibly energizing. Every space, installation, and conversation offered something thoughtful and inspiring. It completely reignited my creative spirit and reminded me why I love architecture and interior design so deeply. Highlights include both Alcova sites at Biaggio Military hospital and Franco Albini’s Villa Pestarini and Casa de Marmol by Architect Hannes Peer Architecture, the Vignelli and Eames exhibitions at the Triennale, Fondazione Prada, and Faye Toogood’s installation at Tacchini.

I must say, one of the most meaningful parts of the experience was the people. From connecting with industry peers from Toronto to meeting creatives and professionals from around the world, it was inspiring to share ideas and perspectives with others who are equally passionate about design and the built environment.

It was also so special to reconnect with old friends and colleagues, while experiencing Milan in the spring at its absolute finest.

As cheesy as it sounds, this trip truly filled my cup. As a mother to a young child, taking this time for myself — to travel, explore, create, and immerse myself in the things that inspire me — felt incredibly restorative. A genuine reset and renewal of self.

I’ve returned home feeling deeply grateful, creatively recharged, and more inspired than ever.

What a special trip. Enjoy these photos!
