Ok, I'm gonna tell ya...
Content creation can be bloody hard! And draining.

First, if you're like me, you make the actual product. Then you've gotta take photos.
Next comes the editing of said photos.
And when you've got lots of products, and you want everyone to see all the pretty sides... well, it takes FOORRREEEVVVEERRRR 🤪

Oh yeah, and you've got to talk about them, too!

I just want to make pretty pots! 😂 😉
Also I'd like my superpower to be telepathy, please. Then I can just broadcast the images to y'all through my mind. Can we do that? I think that'd be way more fun 😂

If you've been hanging around here for a while, you'll know that I LOVE to experiment, and I'm usually throwing something new into the mix. I mean, what's the point of playing around with clay if you're not gonna play around, right? 😄
Try something new and see what happens! So much fun! 🤓🥰

So, I started messing around with adding coloured stains into my white clay a while back. I've got some blue and yellow and green... but I'm really interested in figuring out pinks. I have a real thing for pink lately! ☺️🩷💖💞
I also have one stain called Blackberry Wine that I've been trying out. It's supposed to be a rather dark, almost burgundy colour... IF you add enough.

The last few times I've used the Blackberry Wine slip that I made it came out a sort of mauve colour (I need to add more stain to make a darker shade). But this time it became a lovely shade of gray! Not sure why that happened, but here we are 😂
For some reason, I REALLY love the colour gray! I would probably have my entire home in gray if I could, although my husband probably wouldn't appreciate it 🩶🩶🩶 😂

Anyhoo... so I painted the outside of this cup in the Blackberry Wine slip, and then I added some loose blossoms with a slightly thicker plain white slip, and then another layer in pale pink slip.

And now you have this lovely little gray tumbler, with just a hint of textured blossoms, lined with a soft pink glaze.
And I love her so much ☺️💖💞

🎉 Today's the day! 🎉

Resilient AF mugs are hitting the shop at 2 p.m Mountain (4 p.m Eastern, 1 p.m Pacific)!

A really interesting glaze reaction occurred during the firing, causing the blue glaze to crawl, or pull away, resulting in many individual drips and spots. Not to worry though, these mugs are still completely functional for your coffee, tea or favorite beverage ☕

They just have a little added personality.

As you would when you're Resilient AF! 😉

Now's the time to start checking off your Christmas gift giving list. Or to stuff your own stocking. You know.. either way. 😉🎄

🏃🏼‍♀️Travel Mugs are back!!! 🏃🏼‍♀️

It seems like FOREVER since I've offered these, but I'm excited to be exploring this style again! 😄☕

This particular pair has a minor glaze flaw down at the foot, called crawling. It's where the glaze pulls away and leaves bare spots. It's a minor aesthetic flaw, and actually I think it gives these 2 a bit of character. 😉

I'm going to continue refining the designs, but in the meantime, these and a few other ceramic To-Go Cups will be hitting the shop tomorrow. They include a silicone lid and sleeve, and are dishwasher & microwave safe.

Cheers to tea and coffee on the go!

I recently made my first pitcher to compliment the Rustic Bloom Collection.

Sometimes I wonder why the heck it takes me so long to get around to making certain things. I've been making functional homewares for over 10 years and I still haven't made a teapot either! LOL too many ideas, not enough time, I suppose. 🤷🏼‍♀️😜

Actually, I often have ideas rolling around in my head for a year or two before I make them. Ah well, one day...

Anyway, back to the pitcher!
It doesn't pour very well. 🥴
But it sure makes a lovely vase 😂🏺

New products are hitting the shop, Friday November 8th at 2 p.m MST and this beauty, as lovely as she is, will be marked down as a second. And I guess it's back to the drawing board on that one 😉
