Here's another exemplary restoration and makeover. Can you believe the striking difference between the before/after results? Scroll to see the Before picture. What do you think of the Fusion Ash colour paint paired with the Custom elevated barnboard stain mix on the wood top? And, the new complementary drawer pulls that enhance the overall aesthetic.

It's been busy in The Barn Studio workshop, and some incredible transformations have taken place.
Like this fabulous antique tiger oak, serpentine tallboy in a very unique width! Went from cracks and drab, to a mix of original and unique updates! (Scroll through to see the before pictures).
So hard to let it go, but it's in a fabulous new home now, to be utilized for many more years.

Here's a recent refresh/update of what was, a honey oak, high gloss polyurethane finished, 3 drawer dresser. (Forgot to take a before picture, but it looked similar to the one shown).
Spent time degreasing, sanding, and prepping to then paint this in a custom graphite grey base, with a custom stain mix (blues and grey's to pair fabulously with the base). The hardware was refreshed with a hammered black paint, and "voila" ... sold shortly after it was done to a lovely family.

Happy Fall!
What an amazing start to this wonderful season! 🌞
It's tough to move to fall decor & plants while my summer annuals are still in full bloom. How about you and yours?
It's been a while, and for those who know me, I'm more in the workshop, restoring good quality, (but perhaps outdated or in need of repair), wood furniture, to be its best version of itself again, & perhaps serve even a new purpose (think outside the box; like a coffee station or an older vanity, converted to night stands).
While behind the scenes in the workshop, I often neglect this part ... social media posts. So, I'm going to try to do better! Starting today. 🤞
Stay tuned... I've been working on several that I'll be posting shortly.
Most importantly, thank you for following, commenting, sharing, and becoming clients and friends along this journey. 💗

Here we have a new make-over for a formerly, tired looking, solid oak dresser! This one really inspired creativity!
Taken from drab, to Fab! And the pictures don't do this girl justice! (Scroll through to see the white before pics)
Done in an Ombre shading of darker to light, damask rose shades; distressed finish, an overall antiquing tough coat, beautiful original brass keyhole hardware, and brand new gorgeous porcelain k***s, it's a real, One of a Kind.
But that's not all, the top is done in a cappuccino stain, and lovely 3D embellishments were hand painted and added to the cabinet front, and all the drawers are lined too! Great for a bedroom or foyer! Measures 48.5" tall x 33.5" wide x 18" deep.

Just finished this solid wood, (no particleboard), 4 drawer desk, perfect for back to school.
Painted in a gorgeous graphite (Fusion Ash), and added protection with clear Stain and Finishing Oil. New, incredibly unique hardware was added too!

Another piece (perhaps to some), nearly destined for the landfill. (In first pic). I saw so much potential given its structure and solid wood construction. Sold immediately once finished in the light grey. Thanks to everyone for supporting a hobby I adore. Painting things once drab, to Fab!
