Today’s the last day for and the prompt is “Looking Forward”

There are endless things to look forward to with this one 💕.
She already knows more about flowers 💐 than I did five years ago, I look forward to sharing everything I know with her.
I look forward to growing with her.
I look forward to her all her daily questions that allow me to see the world through a child’s eyes again.

I look forward to travelling again.
I look forward to seeing my friends and family on the other side of the world again...
These last two still seem unattainable for the near future.

For now, I’ll just focus on looking forward to more spring flowers to press, and the next smile, laugh, snuggle, “I love you” from my two favourite humans 😌

After growing (I have a little balcony garden but also have family and friends who share their garden blooms with me 🥰), picking and pressing (some flowers take weeks) all my flowers, it’s finally time for the fun part!

Pressed flowers are all delicate and fragile to work with, but some more so than others.

That little piece of fern split into 2 just as I picked it up for filming 😅 But that’s not a problem. I just need to hold my breath for extra steady hands and glue it back where it belongs!

What’s the best place to use these Fragrance Tablets?

They are most effective when used for scenting small enclosed spaces like drawers and closets! If the scent starts fading, add a drop of essential oil to the woodchip to give it a second life!

⚠️ Please note they are not meant for the car! Wax does not like heat and pressed flowers tend to lose their colour in direct sunlight!

It’s been a great Friday!

I woke up this morning to a really sweet customer messaging me about how much she loves the custom ornament I made for her, and at dinner time I received a message from another customer telling me how she loves the scent of the fragrance tablets 🥰

For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been studying tea for a few years now. I probably love chabana (flower arrangement for the tearoom) more than any other kind of flower arrangement.

This year, I’d like to create more pieces inspired by my tea lessons. This new one here features “Shou-Chiku-Bai”, a Japanese auspicious trio. Shou is pine - its needles remain green all year round. Chiku is bamboo - it grows straight, is flexible and difficult to break. Bai is plum - the trees are the first to bloom after winter. The three together symbolize longevity, resilience, and perseverance.

I feel like this combo is just what the world needs right now.

Hi, I’m back!
Starting the year off with 30% off a limited number of Fragrance Tablets. Thats the biggest sale I’ve ever run!!
The tablets are normally made to order but these ones were made in December for a pop up holiday market and are in retail packaging. The pop up market was a huge success for Thea House and so there really aren’t many tablets left, grab yours soon!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas weekend and are continuing to enjoy the holiday season!

This is a birthday/Christmas gift I sent to one of my favourite people last week. Also my first and possibly last acrylic frame. Working with acrylic is so much harder than with glass!! The static fought with every single petal I placed down. Not to mention the fingerprints 😱!!!
It was a lot of fun to make, nonetheless, and I do like a good challenge so maybe I will make another one some day.

Thank you for suggesting I tried these frameless frames out, and I’m so happy you like the final product 💕.
