Homes constructed before 1980 - 1990 have a high risk of containing dangerous asbestos containing material and is required by law to be tested and handled under government building code to ensure your best health is taken cared of. Our goal is to ensure that all precautions are made to fully dispose of the threat properly to your home and if required rebuild back to original or tailored (renovated) make. Our services are fully licensed under WCB rules and regulations and we are committed to ensuring an eco friendly environment from start to finish.
What is asbestos??
A group of minerals that take the form of tiny fibers. Asbestos has been used as insulation against heat and fire in buildings. Loose asbestos fibers breathed into the lungs can cause several serious diseases, including lung cancer and malignant mesothelioma (cancer found in the lining of the lungs, chest, or abdomen).
Note: Contractors that do not hold an asbestos level 2 & 3 certification are illegible by BC government law to work on your home. Always ask for this certification which will be a hard copy card signed by WCB.
