Another restaurant project is officially open in Thunder Bay!
What makes this one special is that JohnStar Construction Inc.managed the entire project remotely — with a intial site visit with engineering team .

It took a lot of planning, team meetings, and coordination before we even started, to make sure every risk and critical detail was handled right.

A big thank-you to our dedicated Johnstar team who made this possible — and to our valued customer for believing in Johnstar’s ability to deliver, even from miles away. Your trust means a lot.

From Vision to Reality – Ribbon Cutting at Robin’s Kitchen ✂️🍽️

What began as a conversation over layout ideas and kitchen flow has today become a fully operational, state-of-the-art culinary space — Robin’s Kitchen.

Designed and built by the Johnstar Commercial Division, this project reflects everything we stand for: innovation, collaboration, and a relentless commitment to quality.

From the first sketch to the last sealant joint, every detail was carefully planned — not just to meet code, but to set a new standard in commercial kitchen design.

The moment that brought it all together? When the MPP walked in, paused, and said — “This looks more like a manufacturing facility than a kitchen!”
That comment captured exactly what we aimed to achieve: a space built for performance, efficiency, and decades of service.
