Picked some more ranunculus and anemones. So far things are coming along nicely! I was beginning to wonder why I almost kill myself every spring growing these things and now I remember why I do it! 😂

The anemones are gorgeous so far this year. Such long stems! Ranunculus is just starting. I am getting home after being gone for two days. I am excited to see what is out in the garden tomorrow morning!

All our flowers are in the ground! Seeds are all planted. Now we wait! It always reminds me of this passage in Scripture...

All our flowers are in the ground! Seeds are all planted. Now we wait! It always reminds me of this passage in Scripture in 1 Corinthians 3:6-9.

I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.

Whether it’s regarding the Gospel truth planted in the hearts of man or with seeds planted for our garden we trust God in all things!

My little nephew came over to help me plant my amaranth seeds. He also watered my sweet peas (and also the chickens 😂) and helped me turn on my taps and move my soaker hoses. He threatened to “lock” me in the garden by latching the gate (not much of a punishment)
He talked the whole time and asked many questions like “Auntie…. Why are you watering the weeds???”
I never thought I’d miss having small children when I was in the thick of raising them. But I definitely do miss having little kids.

And so it begins! Grew tulips just try them and see how they grow not expecting good results and boy was I wrong. They worked out really good. They even survived that crazy heat wave and constant wind that we got a bit ago. I didn’t fuss over these at all and I am super happy with them. I think my ranunculus really suffered from that heat wave though. We will see what I get from them 😥

Specialty Pumpkins are all in! I even used a jigsaw and still have my fingers and hands! What a job!
