I also urge men to frequently visit the schools their kids attend..
Talk with their teachers like a man, let the children feel protected
Ask necessary questions especially based on pedagogy. Know how the school functions, who does what ,how and why.

Find out MOST ESPECIALLY if the fees you give for "her" to pay is actually what the school demands. I overheard a lady telling a female bursar to increase the fees by 30k if the h***y comes asking and she accepted. But why? He takes care of you and the kids,why "escro" him? And she's also a worker. Some will say he's "stingy", how? You de chop,dress, look good etc,weti?

Men,do these things for your kids and yourself. There are pertinent questions only men can easily ask.(don't get me wrong)..
Do not keep giving out money for fees,didactic materials etc without understanding how it goes. SIT UP!
