Project Description:
The project is a modern industrial style 3-Bedroom Residential Building inspired by the traditional Filipino "Bahay Kubo (House on Stilts). Elevated from the ground to ensure floodproofing, the design blends modern materials such as concrete, steel and glass with the Vernacular Architecture of the Philippines.
The Stilt-like structure allows for natural ventilation and adaptability to tropical climate, while the elevated living spaces offer protection from flooding and enhance privacy. The design emphasizes sustainable living, incorporating passive cooling, large windows, and open-plan interiors, all while reflecting the cultural heritage of the "bahay kubo".
