🏗️ Floating Slab Foundation 🏠
In this residential project, we’re building a floating slab foundation designed for long-term strength and stability.
1️⃣ We start by assembling a reinforced beam with steel rebar.
This floating foundation will be supported by the concrete voided foundation system already installed underground — ensuring greater stability, optimal load distribution, and long-term durability.
2️⃣ We place plastic sheeting to block ground moisture.
3️⃣ We install electrowelded steel mesh to tie the beams together and form the floating slab.
4️⃣ Then, we run water pipes and electrical conduits. At Guana Help, we prefer to keep water lines outside the slab whenever possible — making future maintenance simpler and more affordable for homeowners.
5️⃣ Finally, we add cement spacers so the steel mesh stays elevated when pouring concrete.
To finish, we use a concrete vi****or to ensure the mix settles properly and eliminates air pockets — achieving a stronger and more uniform structure.
💪 Precision and care in every step — that’s how we build solid foundations for your next project.
