Color influences the way we experience and react to the world around us.
Grey usually reads sorrow, red means courage while yellow often inspires wisdom. For a lovely visual experience, we have declared PINK as this month's color and assignment topic. So think pink thoughts and let's all get pretty in pink!
Blushing cheeks, a ballerina tutu, the breast cancer ribbon, a princess' clothes, all things commonly associated and assimilated as pink are pretty good for this assignment but pretty please, make sure you include them in elaborate contexts, preferably with people. And by all means, don't stop at stereotypes!
Pink is said to be the color of love, beauty, youth and happiness so we're mainly looking for that pink feeling that gives you butterflies in the stomach, optimism, hope and good mood. Let's see people wearing pink but most of all, feeling in the pink! Pink is usually interpreted as sweet, feminine and sensual so we're looking to experience the pink softness and delicacy of flowers, textures or fabrics as well.
Don't forget that pink is also the color of calmness and relaxation. Pink interiors, pink furniture, pink wallpaper are pretty hot for this assignment. Pink is always pretty and everything looks pretty in pink so make sure we see prettiness in different shades of pink. We're looking forward to an explosion of blush, coral, flesh, flush, hot pink, fuchsia, magenta, raspberry, rose or salmon.
