At our first INTER-SECTION FLINTA Film & Community Event, we brought board sport cultures together: from the streets to the peaks. A massive thank you to all the crews who shared their films and their trust with us.

While the room might not have been packed to the last seat, the energy inside was truly special! 🙏 We are incredibly grateful for the positive feedback we’ve received from those who joined us. Your enthusiasm and the open conversations in the Safer Space showed us one thing: This is just the beginning.

We listen, we reflect, and we are constantly working to improve. Your voices are our compass! That’s why we’re already looking ahead to INTER-SECTION #2 and inviting you to be part of this journey.

From the very first push to the and now NK2 (youth squad) - what a journey!

At just 12 years old, Miki has already become a powerhouse within our Curare family. She’s been riding with us since our very beginning, and witnessing her evolution over the years has been an absolute privilege.

Earning her spot in the Region Team is the well-deserved result of tireless passion, a daily grind, and that unique energy she pours into every single trick. Watching your progress brings us so much joy and pride. Breaking boundaries, building community: INTER-SECTION #1 is here! 🌱

The Vision: Whether it’s wheels, fins, or edges… we are dissolving the lines between us. INTER-SECTION is about finding common ground across all elements. From the streets to the waves and the peaks, we’re creating a space where the community comes first.

The Program: We kick things off with a Community Session (All Wheels Welcome), followed by an evening of inspiring short films by FLINTA crews. After the screening, we invite you to our FLINTA Only Safer Space for exchange and connection.

📅 When: 10th of January, 2026

1:00 – 2:30 pm - Community Skate Session: Everyone is Welcome

2:30 – 3:45 pm - Film-Screening: Präsentation of three FLINTA Crew Videos

4:00 – 6:00 pm - FLINTA Safer Space: Exclusive space for FLINTA

We received a donation of new protection gear sets (knee, elbow, and wrist guards) and want to pass them on to organizations and social skateboarding projects that support children.

SIZES: For children aged 6 to 12 years.

COLORS: Black, Blue, and Pink.

QUANTITY: We can support 10–15 organizations with one box each (approx. 10–15 mixed sets).

LOGISTICS: Pickup of the boxes is possible in Berlin. If shipping is necessary, the shipping costs will be discussed and shared individually.

HOW TO APPLY: Send us a direct message with your organization’s name and a brief description of your work. We will collect all applications and get back to you!

Winter plans secured: Curare presents „Wheels & Community,“ our new event series transforming the skate park into an inclusive and enriching Safer Space.

The Concept: We are creating a respectful place for exchange for everyone, featuring special, alternating slots dedicated to FLINTA & Q***r individuals. Whether skateboard, roller skate, or wheelchair – All Wheels Welcome.

📍 Location: Kaufhalle, Gürtelstraße 31, 10409 Berlin . The exact address and directions can be found via the Link in Bio.

Limited Participation: Attendance is limited to 12 spots. All event info and dates will be announced here on Instagram, but the exclusive registration link will always be released on Tuesdays only in our Telegram Group (Link in Bio!). First come, first served!

Am 25.10.25 fand das erste Skateboarding Beyond Community Event in Deutschland aus der Saison 25/26 statt. Ziel dieser Event Reihe ist es, Kindern und Jugendlichen neben ersten Erfahrung auf dem Skateboard auch Werte unserer Community zu vermitteln. Verpackt in spielerische Aufgaben auf dem Skateboard geht es unter Anderem um die Vermittlung gegenseitigen Respekts und Akzeptanz, Vielfalt oder Teamarbeit.

In der in Köln konnten Interessierte an einem kostenlosen Skateboarding und Kreativ Angebot teilnehmen. Von ausgebildeten Skateboarding Beyond Coaches wurden unterschiedliche Gruppenaktivitäten durchgeführt und auch individuelle Tips gegeben.

Mit unserem diesjährigen Partner von .skateboarding konnten Teilnehmende eigene Skateboard Grafiken entwerfen und die Lebensspanne eines Skateboards in einer Ausstellung erkunden. Das Angebot wurde sehr positiv angenommen und es entstanden vielseitige Kunstwerke. Bei folgenden Skateboarding Beyond Events werden weitere Grafiken gestallten und alle Teilnehmende haben die Chance, ihre Grafik als Unikat Skateboarddeck zu gewinnen. Informationen zur Wahl werden wir über Sozial Media verkünden.

Wir freuen uns bei weiteren Skateboarding Beyond Community Events in Deutschland in den kommenden Monaten mit euch zu skaten und eine tolle Zeit zusammen zu haben. Bis bald!

Thanks to everyone who showed up, the positive vibes and skateboarding at the highest level. We hope you had as much fun as we did and it was an honour to welcome so many of you.

There was a bit of everything: grinds, slides, jumps, sun and rain. We even got to feel the street spot vibes when the police turned up. All in all, a great event and thanks again to everyone who took part!

On 11 July 2025 between 5pm - 7pm we are hosting a skateboarding session and cash for tricks jam in the courtyard of Generator Berlin Mitte, with €500 up for grabs. Everyone is welcome. Let’s have a good time together and show what you’ve got. Moderator will make sure that everyone gets some money and your efforts are honoured!

We will spice up the court with an up ledge and a kicker, don’t miss it!

Entering the courtyard is for free! If you want to also join the Generator Session you need to sign up (link in Bio). Expect an incredible night of DJ sets, flash tattoos, live art, demo drop with .records , drinks and cocktail workshop from , food pop-ups, and way more .wav .ski

Together: Meet old friends, make new ones. Have a good time and socialise through skateboarding! International Go Skateboarding Day has been celebrated on 21 June since 2004. On this day, skaters of all levels, genders, origins etc. can experience skateboarding and community together.

We support the Berlin Go Skateboarding Day 2025 and would like to invite you to skate the Vogelfreiheit Skatepark and the miniramp on Tempelhofer Feld with us on 21 June between 2pm - 6pm. Together with an alliance of Berlin-based shops, brands, clubs and initiatives, we would like to invite you to a non-commercial event focussing on the Berlin skateboarding community, coming together and having fun. Come along if you share our vision, we look forward to seeing you!

Happy International Women‘s Day! Much has been done, much remains to be done. Thank you to everyone who continues to stand up for the rights of FLINTAs, to those with heart and attitude! Let’s stand together and not lose courage, even when patriarchal systems gain strength and propagate the oppression of marginalised groups. Shame on you!
