Evening backlighting brings every layer to life.
It reveals the textures and colours of Nepeta 'Walker's Low', Geranium 'Sirak', Salvia 'Schneehügel', Salvia 'Caradonna' and Grass Sporobulus hetrolepis.

A closer look at this planting combination: Nepeta × faassenii 'Walker's Low', pink flowers of Geranium 'Sirak', upright spires of Salvia nemorosa 'Caradonna', creamy-yellow Lupinus 'Chandelier', and, in the foreground, the soft pink blooms of Monarda bradburiana.

One of my favourite combinations for this time of summer: drifts of Nepeta × faassenii ‘Walker’s Low’, the soft pink flowers of Geranium ‘Sirak’, upright spires of Salvia nemorosa ‘Caradonna’, creamy-yellow Lupinus ‘Chandelier’, and the subtle beauty of Monarda bradburiana.

It is Nepeta x faassenii Walker's Low time. It Blooms for months and attracts thousands of honeybees and bumblebees The sound of bees when walking here is so calming. 🐝 its biggest requirement is a spot of full sun.
