حضرتُ بالأمس احتفال صبّ آخر بلاطة خرسانية للبرج الأيقوني في العلمين، والذي يُعد ثاني أعلى برج في أفريقيا. وتعتبر شركة بيناكل استشاري التصميم للمقاول، الشركة الصينية “CSCEC”. رؤيتي للمبنى وقد تحول إلى واقع بعد مشاركتي في التصميم والرسومات الأولية تمنحني شعورًا بالفخر والاعتزاز. خلال عملي في التصميم، واجهت تحديات تصميمية جديدة لم أتعامل معها من قبل.

Yesterday, I attended the celebration of the final concrete slab pour for the Iconic Tower in Alamein, the second tallest tower in Africa. Pinnacle served as the design consultant for the contractor, the Chinese company CSCEC. Seeing the building materialize after contributing to the design and initial sketches fills me with pride and appreciation. Throughout the design process, I encountered new design challenges that I hadn’t previously experienced.

Introducing the final proposal for the hilltop residential compound in Wales, UK. Transitioning from traditional countryside homes to iconic, as per the client’s request. The main concept behind the master plan was to create luxurious, distinctive residences, where each unit feels as if it owns the entire hill. This approach led to a reduced overall capacity.

Sustainability was a key design driver, ensuring that the natural landscape of the hill remains largely untouched. Each unit features a green roof, giving the impression that the homes emerge naturally from the earth. As you explore the area, the architecture almost disappears, leaving the green spaces and surrounding nature as the focal points.

At the highest point of the hill, a commercial and sports center has been integrated, along with a promenade and a viewpoint offering scenic views of the ocean and the green hills below.

Introducing our initial proposal for residential units on a hilltop site in Broadway, Wales, UK. The client’s main request was to maximize the hilltop’s potential while preserving the authentic countryside charm typical of an English village. We achieved this by designing countryside-style units, creatively blending materials and utilizing the site’s natural elevation to ensure privacy for each unit. All homes feature scenic landscape views, and the flexible design accommodates 1, 2 bedroom units or studio options.

Introducing my first design in the UK, a sustainable residential project on a hillside in Wales. Embracing a ‘From Earth’ concept, the design minimizes environmental impact by integrating seamlessly with the natural landscape. The development features green roofs and ground cover to enhance land value and privacy. The residential units include a 3-bedroom type with a built-up area of 238 sqm, complete with designated parking, and a 2-bedroom type available in two façade configurations based on site location. Proud to contribute to this project with various approaches.

Introducing a unique proposal for a luxurious villa located on a hilltop in Wales, UK. This design features a built-up area of around 206 sqm, including two bedrooms, expansive living areas, an open kitchen, and a private indoor pool deck, chosen for its suitability to the local weather. The innovative design contrasts circular and curved forms with rectilinear shapes, enhancing privacy and maximizing the panoramic landscape views. This project is my first design in the UK, marking an exciting new beginning.

This project is part of a larger development at Al Ghadeer, which transformed a desert landscape into a thriving residential community.

My Role:
While working at Sorouh Real Estate, I led the design process from initial sketches through to conceptual and detailed design. I also oversaw construction, ensuring the project was completed on time and within budget. My responsibilities included landscape and interior design, contributing to the creation of a cohesive and functional living environment for the residents.
