2 years of network exchanges on possible solutions for the fringe transformation, as well as local results are presented to a wider group of city practitioners, architects and urban planners.

Vă așteptăm la evenimentul final al proiectelor sub>urban și BoostINNO, joi, 29 martie, între orele 12:00 - 15:00.

Evenimentul are rolul de a disemina și promova rezultatele proiectelor finanțate în cadrul programului URBACT, atât la nivel microteritorial (scara zonei pilot – cartierul Săsar), cât și la nivel local (către un grup extins de actori urbani). Evenimentul își propune să ofere un mediu interactiv pentru concretizarea unui parcurs viitor de reactivare a cartierelor suburbane ale Municipiului Baia Mare, precum și de a găsi soluții aplicabile la nivel local pentru a încuraja consolidarea ecosistemului de inovare socială.

At the beginning of September, Baia Mare team has participated in a 2,5-day Field Trip to Marseille (France), aimed at providing insights into the local challenges and solutions regarding the urban renewal processes. City of Dusseldorf and the Metropolitan area were joining the trip as well and the focus of the trip was to go deeper into the certain topic of urban renovation and renewal which the cities share.

During the Field Trip, we have visited urban rehabilitation projects of the City of Marseille (being guided by Marseille Rénovation Urbaine), paying special attention to three different neighbourhoods:
•La Castellane – a neighbourhood with a high density, labyrinth organization, poor integration into the topography, isolation of the city by multiple infrastructures. •Saint Paul – a set of 222 social housing units with one access road, being defined by a situation of isolation.
