In Spain, New Year’s Eve is more than just a party! At midnight, to the chimes of the Puerta del Sol clock, people eat 12 grapes – one for each month of the coming year. The whole country does it together, believing in the luck hidden in each grape.
A gold ring might land in a glass of cava for prosperity, and travel dreamers take a symbolic walk with a suitcase around the house or the street. ✨👜
