BESPOKE GARDEN OFFICE / EXTRA LIVING SPACE

A little throwback to the Covid years—when suddenly everyone needed extra space at home.

This was one of my favourite projects from that time.

What started as a timber frame build quickly became a beautiful garden office / extra living space for the client—giving them somewhere peaceful to work, relax, and escape the chaos of lockdown life.

From the structural framework to the final cladding, interior finishing, and those final details… this project was incredibly satisfying to watch come together.

It’s projects like this that remind me why I love what I do—taking an idea and turning it into a space people genuinely enjoy using every day.

Looking back at work like this makes me proud of the journey.

Hidden problem… finally found and fixed.

This is a pipe we uncovered this week after removing the floor tiles.

It hadn’t been properly sealed under the tiles, which had been causing ongoing damp issues throughout the property for a long time. The customer had constantly wet walls, damp smells, and never knew exactly where the problem was coming from.

Once we opened it up, we found the cause.

Thankfully it’s now been repaired and sealed properly — which means no more leaks, no more damp, and one very relieved customer.

Sometimes the problem is hidden… but finding it and fixing it properly is what we do.

People often see the finished result… but rarely the work that goes into getting there.

These two photos sum up a lot of the work I used to do in England before moving to Spain.

The first photo shows the hard graft — demolition, clearing rubble, and preparing everything properly.

The second photo shows the craftsmanship — taking raw materials and turning them into something you can be proud of.

That’s what I’ve always enjoyed most about this trade… seeing progress, overcoming challenges, and standing back at the end knowing you’ve built something properly.

Now bringing that same work ethic and craftsmanship to Murcia, Spain 🇪🇸

💧 A small leak can quickly turn into a much bigger problem if left untreated.

This customer had water damage around their window which caused the plaster to blow and damage the surrounding wall.

We repaired the issue, restored the damaged plasterwork, and repainted the area so it looks as good as new again.

Sometimes it’s not just about stopping the leak — it’s about putting everything right afterwards too.

Builder confession… sometimes we open up a wall or look under a sink and genuinely have to ask…

“Who did this?!” 😅

Plumbing held together with tape and “creative problem solving” that definitely should never have been considered a proper repair.

We get it — people want quick fixes. But temporary repairs often lead to leaks, water damage, and much bigger costs later on.

This is exactly why proper workmanship matters.

If something in your home looks a little questionable… it probably is 👀
