View from the new courtyard garden we’ve just planted last March at our project in Felanitx. Sheltered, shady and widely connected to the house entrance; this area belongs to the house just as the wild pool garden belongs to the surrounding landscape. The contrast is not evident, until you turn the corner and get surprised with a different scene. Many gardens in one.

Water is not the only sensitive element with which we have to deal in the mediterranean. Light is crucial too: it is important to know how colors would actually look and pay high attention to textures. The mediterranean Sun definitely makes NOT easy to play with subtle tones and delicate combinations.

Thank you 2021 with this photo of what I consider my project of the year. It has been a very busy year, with many projects on the way that will take still a lot of efforts and fun to be finished along the 2022.
