We are happy to launch a new phase of our urbanistic collaborative process R E P E N S A R, which aims to continue the project Repensar el Contenedor, a participative architecture residency organised in 2017 by Hablar En Arte and the European programme CAPP (Collaborative Arts Partnership Programme) at the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Huarte.
About REPENSAR LA PERIFERIA (RETHINKING THE PERIPHERY): we want to extend the collaborative process initiated in Huarte to two other remoted neighbourhoods of Pamplona, Soto Lezkairu and Etxabakoitz. The key element of the project is the activation of the mobile elements for cultural action that have been designed and built during our residency – the Totems. These have been conceived with the primary objective of the democratisation of culture.
The implementation in the three foreseen suburban areas will take place during a few months in every neighbourhood, in order to ensure the sustainability of the project. A cycle of workshops and events (participative creation workshops, conferences, screening-debates…) will consolidate the visibility of the project on a long-term basis in the cultural landscape of the agglomeration of Pamplona. Foreign artists, architects and researchers will be invited to contribute to the project and exchange about their own experience of similar contexts on a national and international scale. The project will focus on the idea of PERIPHERY on a local, regional and global scale.

Estamos felices de anunciar el lanzamiento de nuestro proceso urbanístico colaborativo R E P E N S A R cuyo objetivo es continuar el proyecto Repensar el Contenedor, una residencia que fue organizada durante el 2017 por la asociación Hablar En Arte y el programa europeo CAPP (Collaborative Arts Partnership Programme) en el Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Huarte.
Sobre REPENSAR LA PERIFERIA: queremos extender el proceso colaborativo iniciado en Huarte a dos otros barrios DE LAS AFUERAS de Pamplona, Soto Lezkairu y Etxabakoitz. La pieza clave del proyecto, es la activación de elementos de acción cultural móviles desarrollados en una primera fase dentro de la residencia artística Repensar el Contenedor. El objetivo de la utilización de los Tótems (los elementos móviles) es posibilitar la democratización de la cultura.
La implantación en cada barrio/ pueblo seleccionado para el proyecto será de una duración de ciertos meses con el fin de garantizar la durabilidad del mismo. Un ciclo de talleres y de eventos (talleres de creación participativa, conferencias, proyecciones-debate) consolidará la visibilidad del proyecto de manera durable, dentro del paisaje cultural de la comarca de Pamplona. Artistas, arquitectas y arquitectos e investigadoras e investigadores extranjeros serán invitados a contribuir en el proyecto haciéndonos parte de su experiencia colectiva en otros contextos similares estatales e internacionales. Sobre la base de un proceso colaborativo y creativo este proyecto nos lleva a buscar nuevas maneras de pensar la PERIFERIA, en una escala local, regional y global.
