It's important to have your chimney/flue swept a minimum of every 12 months.
A chimney sweep takes around 45 minutes to carry out. If its takes much less then the job has not been carried out properly.
It can take hours to clean if it's not been done regularly and has a heavy build up of soot and creosote.
Components in the stove are removed to ensure no soot is left in the stove or above in the chimney allowing this to catch fire. This is very important.

Why is it so important to have your chimney / flue swept regularly?
To avoid a chimney / flue fire
To protect your health
To avoid blockages
To avoid paying extra costs because the chimney will take 3 hours to clean rather than the standard 45 minutes.
A build up of soot and creosote can cause blockages. This allows toxic smoke and carbon monoxide into your home which can be fatal.

This is another installation we carried out in Arboleas for Christy & Mike.
A troublesome installation but rest assured we don't give up.
We even found a large paint tin in the chimney 😆
The hearth and back panel were already sourced by the customer.
