Really special project in collaboration with Frei Zimmer is becoming a reality! 🏠👏

Vuonna 2019 alotimme suunnittelemaan hoivakiinteistö hanketta yhdessä insinööritoimisto Suorannan sekä taidesuunnittelijan Tuula Lehtisen kanssa . Tavoitteenamme oli rakentaa kaksi nykyaikaista, modernia CLT-luhtitaloa, joissa yhdistyvät vahvasti taide sekä rakennusten ympäristö. Taidekuvio sai alkunsa alueen vesistöstä, Vesijärvestä, jossa kasvaa iso lumpeita. Tällä hetkellä iso lumme on printattuna luhtikäytävien seiniin. Samassa taidesuunnittelija Tuula Lehtinen toi idean julkisivuun aaltoilevista lamelleista, johon kellään ei ollut kahta sanaa. Rakennusten luhtikäytäviä tukee komeasti aaltoilevat lamellikuviot, mitkä saavat suupielet aina hymyilemään😊

Natural light and energy efficiency were key design drivers ➡️ ☀️Sauna and the resting space feature large windows facing south and horizontal windows for 360 presence view. The approach is different from the traditional windowless sauna design and delivers cozy and open feel at the same time ⚡️Four chimneys placed at the heart of the cottage provide efficient heat sharing between the sauna, the resting space and even the outside fire place.
