Jardel likes to play with words on the medium, and he is a master of pictograms, which needs to be discovered again and again. “I am painting very colorful characters and situations because of my inside world is in constant movements. The French artist started working as an artist when he arrived in the United Arab Emirates a few years ago. He says: “My very first inspiration came from Jean Michel Basquiat, but I’m also impressed by Philippe Pasqua, Julian Schnabel, Jackson Pollock and quite a bit fascinated by all artists who are showing off their sensitivity through painting.”
