Details of the custom furniture and lights we designed for Kozy, including a sculptural concrete counter, blue marquetry tables with inset geometric patterns and a floating stone sink, set under a diffused light grid. Curved wooden benches matching the curved concrete walls. All was designed exclusively for the project, each piece celebrating craftsmanship, texture, and materiality.

KOZY ÉCOLE MILITAIRE — A cinematic restaurant, by HYPNOS XP.

A space shaped by light, warmth, and movement, Kozy’s latest restaurant in the heart of Paris is a vivid statement.

Warm, sunset-like light guides visitors from the suspended arc sculpture, creating a memorable spatial experience and bringing energy to the interior.

At its heart, a monumental blue concrete counter wraps around an original circular pillar, balancing raw materiality with crafted detail. Okumé plywood, striped tiles, terrazzo, deep-blue marquetry, and stainless steel enrich the tactile palette.

Arches, curved seating, and rounded concrete beams bring rhythm and softness throughout.

A project where light leads, materials tell a story, and every detail shapes a warm, immersive atmosphere.

Details of the custom furniture and lighting we designed for the Datura coffee roasters, including a high table, used for cupping coffee, with raw black steel sheets and white translucide panels that resemble the material of packaging, built by .looppp.

Suspension lights were designed to integrate industrial/ standard elements such as rails, tubes and rivets, then customised with translucide plexiglass strips.

A suspended stainless steel counter, for the coffee machine, wrapped in raw steel panels and lined by functional workshop cabinets by , bring functionality to the space, allowing Datura to experiment with different coffee beans.

Two tall towers of stainless steel effortlessly integrate the sound system with vertical tower speakers, recessed within.

A low coffee table in folded and riveted stainless steel and glass by , completes the setup.

DATURA ROASTERY — A serene and refined interior design for the renovation of the mirco-roastery and atelier of , by

One of Paris’ leading coffee specialist, Datura sources rare and distinct coffee beans from around the world, which are then transformed into aromatic and full-flavour beans, ready to grind.

We played with this to create a space that transforms - a more intimate, somber and serious side with dark tones featuring raw steel panels, and a lighter more contemporary side where the coffee production is made. Here, natural light reflects on stainless steel, built-in speakers bring music and life to the space.

Custom furniture by .looppp and further enhance the artistic direction, with two tall towers of stainless steel effortlessly integrate the sound system with vertical tower speakers, recessed within.

Interior design, with custom lighting, cupping table and speaker installations for the micro-roasters and atelier of

Blending raw, black steel panels with light, translucide plexiglass sheets and stainless steel - a transformation of the space from light to dark, which is reflective of the roasting process in which Datura prepares its beans.
