When designing a commercial space interior, my purpose is to support the development of my clients’ businesses.

For me, commercial interior design means understanding a business, its customers and challenges, then turning its strategy into an experience people can see, feel and remember.

A commercial space — through its environment, layout, circulation, functionality and aesthetics — must merge with its positioning, target clientele, customer experience and business strategy.

This is what I call: "designing the customer experience".

We don’t simply design spaces. We design experiences!

As a French interior designer, I carry a culture of high standards in design and craftsmanship. France shaped my eye: materials, textiles, woodworking, bespoke craftsmanship, lighting, proportions, colors and details. Learning from skilled professionals and constantly asking how a concept can be improved or pushed further has become part of my DNA: curiosity, attention to detail, high expectations and passion.

This luxury wellness & medical spa project in Curaçao is a perfect example.

Located within a new luxury mall connected to a high-end villa development, it needed to appeal to an affluent local clientele and international visitors — particularly Dutch, American and Canadian travelers — seeking premium wellness, health and hospitality experiences.

The owners’ ambition: an innovative concept combining wellness, aesthetics and medical expertise, advanced technology and treatments for women and men, across generations and backgrounds.

My role was to translate that positioning and those business objectives into an experience.

The challenge: less than 100 m² (1,075 sq ft) for three private treatment rooms with acoustic requirements, manicure and pedicure areas, reception and waiting spaces, plus technical and sanitary needs.

Many clients and practitioners can occupy the space simultaneously. Yet this is luxury. People need to breathe...

Circulation, zoning, privacy and the balance between open and enclosed spaces therefore shaped the layout.

The aesthetic choices followed the same strategy: powdered beige microcement, warm browns, terracotta, natural textures and brushed gold create a sophisticated, gender-inclusive atmosphere beyond stereotypical spa codes.

The inspiration combines Miami and Los Angeles wellness and medical design, with Parisian elegance.

Lighting creates atmosphere while supporting practitioners. Materials are sophisticated but durable. Bespoke solutions create identity while addressing local sourcing and import constraints.

Handcrafted Mexican cement tiles are more than beautiful—they’re made to last. Their 2 cm thickness provides excellent thermal mass, helping interiors stay naturally cooler in tropical climates. During my sourcing trip to the Yucatán, I found exceptional artisans who can even create custom designs. These stunning tiles will soon be available for my residential and commercial projects across the Caribbean. A container is coming this summer—contact me if you’d like to be part of it!

Some places aren’t designed.

They are felt long before they exist.

For months, I’ve been imagining a workspace that doesn’t feel like an office.

A place where people actually want to spend their day. Where architects, entrepreneurs, creatives and business owners feel inspired from the moment they walk through the door.

That vision became EL PATIO.

Located in Saliña, Curaçao, EL PATIO is a new kind of business house, offering private workspaces, meeting rooms and flexible spaces for professionals staying for a day, a month or much longer.

Every design decision tells a story.

A French loft spirit expressed through generous steel-framed windows, soaring volumes and open perspectives.

The warmth of Latin America through natural textures, chukum walls, polished concrete, stone, handcrafted cement tiles and architectural furniture with clean, understated lines.

A palette of soft neutrals, enhanced with carefully placed touches of colour that bring energy without ever distracting from the architecture.

Indoor and outdoor spaces flow naturally into one another, allowing daylight, greenery and fresh air to become part of the experience itself.

Because I’ve always believed that great design isn’t about decoration.

It’s about creating places where people feel calm, creative, focused and connected.

This project is also a tribute to what I love most: blending cultures, travelling through architecture, mixing influences without ever losing authenticity.

That’s why I chose a Manu Chao soundtrack for this video. His music reflects movement, openness and cultural diversity—values that perfectly echo Curaçao, where languages, cultures and backgrounds naturally coexist.

Over the next few months, I’ll be sharing the journey from concept to reality.

I can’t wait to open the doors of EL PATIO and welcome you into a place designed not only to work… but to feel good.

Expected opening: January 2027.

Minimalist. Simple. Functional. Personal.

Designing a child’s bedroom isn’t about choosing a wallpaper or adding trendy furniture.

It’s about understanding how that child will actually live in the space.

For this 12-year-old boy, we explored several concepts together—from skateboarding and football to baseball, different color palettes and even a bold red concept—before choosing the direction that best reflected his personality.

Because the bedroom is compact, every design decision had a purpose.

The space was organised around four essential functions:
• Sleeping
• Getting dressed
• Getting changed
• Moving naturally towards the gaming area upstairs.

One of the most interesting architectural features was an existing recessed wardrobe niche.

Rather than treating it as something to hide, it became one of the strongest elements of the project. Open storage makes daily life easier in a small bedroom where traditional doors or drawers would reduce circulation.

A single blue-black color was then used to connect the wardrobe, the staircase and the access to the gaming space.

This isn’t simply a color choice.

It creates a visual path, naturally guiding the eye from one function to another. In small interiors, colors, materials and architectural lines become invisible tools that organise the space without making it feel smaller.

The graffiti wallpaper introduces the teenager’s personality and favorite colors, while the rest of the room remains intentionally calm and minimalist, allowing the feature wall to become the focal point.

Good interior design isn’t about adding more.

It’s about making every centimeter work with intention.

✨ AI can generate beautiful images. My job is to create spaces designed around the people who live in them.

If you’re looking for more than beautiful visuals—if you want a home designed around the way you really live—I’d love to help.
